Sardines!

If you were one of the unfortunate souls given sardine sandwiches in your lunchbox as a child; You will especially appreciate this collection of cool Sardine Packaging! Some kids are given peanut butter and jelly, and some are given liverwurst and sardine sandwiches, it truly is a crapshoot. But in my old age I've come to appreciate having a palette of exotic flavors raised by my mothers strange options for sandwich solutions in the days when flourescent and charm bracelets were cool! Click here to check out the cool label collection.

Zombi Update

Well a friend saw the "brains t-shirt" and showed me the "grains" t shirt...So the moral of the stories is that even if you don't eat meat, you can be a zombie too. You never know when a tidbit of knowledge like that will help you out in a tight spot.

Another Zombi masterpiece, whoever did this is a mad genius. I love this shirt, it is just too bizarre. Every time I look at this image I laugh. Link here...

The best Halloween music album ever (aside from the Zombi soundtrack), if you don't have this album in your collection, do yourself a flavor and get it! Plus incredibly excellent etching cover illustration to boot. Make a special effort to listen to "the Gonk" because its the BEST!

Happy Slug

If I were a slug I would be happy too if this is what I looked like in the slug world. These are the most beautiful toxic slugs I've ever seen and the photographs are so colorful and detailed. Check them out at National Geographic here...

Bike to Work Day May 15th, 2008

Wow just heard about this. I've recently been braving the streets of LA and bike commuting to work. It's 15 miles along the 5 frwy bike path for me and its awesome! I love it. Such a great way to fit in exercise in my computer heavy lifestyle. If you are thinking about trying it out, DO! And make a pledge to do so for prizes! Metro is free this day to everyone with a bike or bike helmet. So bike even one way on it, if that gets you out the door! Contribute your energy to making transportation just a little bit better in LA. Here is the link to find out more about it.

Love this Piece

This artwork gives me so much inspiration. It's done by an artist named Chiho Aoshima and it's featured on a fun blog that has other digital artworks here...
